    Bug (2006) An unhinged war veteran holes up with a lonely woman in a spooky Oklahoma motel room. The line between reality and delusion is blurred as they discover a bug infestation. Superb! this was an amazing mystery-conspiracy thriller. “What the hell is going on” is the basic thought when viewing this suggestive horror. A horrific fact that does happen in real life, more than you think. Ashley Judd looked like hell! She really got into the role, frighteningly good. Michael Shannon does that weird creepy guy he portrays best. Christ these people need help. The whole cast was great! everyone played out their roles perfectly. At mid-point the truth pops it’s ugly head. The story/theme/lesson is just like in films Requiem for a Dream (2000) and Spun (2002). People who fall prey to monstrous addictions. Towards the end, a similarity in “symptoms” was seen, just like in the film A Scanner Darkly (2006) where bugs were crawling all over.
