Kill List (2011)
Nearly a year after a botched job, a hitman takes a new assignment with the promise of a big payoff for three killings. What starts off as an easy task soon unravels, sending the killer into the heart of darkness.
A well executed British thriller which dabbles a bit in the realm of horror.
Neil Maskell and Harry Simpson are partners in crime. Murderers, friends and family. The professional duo come across a wealthy and powerful man. Kill and get paid! What’s the price?
Raw approach with a brilliant script sets the mood of this horror… thriller… story of a killer. The kill scenes/hits were done well. Droppin’ the hammer down!
The build-up and flow of the film was adequate enough to hold my attention throughout this mysterious hitman horror. The 1st half established some connection with characters, the 2nd had clues to the mystery and the finale is one that most might question… I’m torn between liking and hating it.
Hmmm… the comments on the poster/dvd cover is a bit exaggerated.
An “ok” view for a lazy afternoon… A good film with flaws.
