  1. The Woman in Black (2012)

A young lawyer travels to a remote village where he discovers the vengeful ghost of a scorned woman is terrorizing the locals.

Based on the novel by Susan Hill.

Harry Potter all grown up… “really???” The poor bastard is marked for life. Daniel Radcliffe jumps from kiddie to horror. Let’s take the “scarred” joke throughout this review shall we? Yeah. IT’S LIKE THAT.

Harry Potter is a lawyer up to his neck with problems. He is given one last chance to prove himself as a worthy asset to the firm. He arrives at a house haunted by a woman dressed in black, who preys on the villagers children. Potter must resolve the issue and solve the mystery of the lady…

I honestly thought to myself “i wasted time downloading this crap? and could have used my HD space for porn”. Goddamn Harry Potter…

Horror films… Horror films are a film genre seeking to elicit a negative emotional reaction from viewers by playing on the audience’s primal fears. They often feature scenes that startle the viewer, and the macabre and the supernatural are frequent themes. Thus they may overlap with the fantasy, supernatural, and thriller genres.”

Was this a horror film? by definition YES. This wouldn’t scare the panties off my grandma. Cheap thrills and “boo” scares. PG-13 -> There is NO SUCH THING AS A HORROR FILM WITH THAT RATING.

Where the hell was this film going? To the typical road of haunted houses. Simple as that. Oh yeah Harry Potter stars in it. BUT the real star of the show is “the location” and set. Awesome shit right there.

“It’s a classic approach” PLEASE. Watch a classic film if that’s the case. And trust me… people did not go to the theater because of the “story”.

To be fair… Potter CAN act…

A standard horror mystery movie which will go unnoticed.
