  1. Vampire Girl vs. Frankenstein Girl (2009)

Transfer student Monami has a secret and a past that has caught up with Mizushima. Deceiving Mizushima into eating a token gift of chocolate, laced with her blood, he is then catapulted into Monami’s vampire world of blood, death and love. Jilted girlfriend Keiko has other ideas. With a sudden twist of fate, she is then transformed into the hideous and unforgiving Frankenstein Girl, and the battle for Mizushima’s heart begins.

Based on the Comic by Shungicu Uchida. Translated by Yoshihiro Nishimura director of Tokyo Gore Police (2008) and Naoyuki Tomomatsu of director Stacey (2001).

Shower me with blood!!! A gore-riffic romantic comedy. Oddly wholesome, like a noontime variety show on steroids. Prepare yourself for the ridiculous and insane.

Two girls… one guy. Every man’s dream. The cliche high school drama was tolerable, because of the babes in uniform. Creepy stalker-ish Monami aka Vampire Girl, fit the girl next door well. Frankenstein Girl Eri Otoguro had me at hello, so fucking cute and hardcore at the same time, just like in the film Oneechanbara: Zombie Bikini Squad (2008). You can tell she has a great sense of humor.

Blood and guts! Loved the nurse, the wrist cutting contest, the hilarious “happy” music and the crazy special effects. Japanese culture has (uniquely) shocked me once again. Bravo!

Stupid but entertaining gore-a-palooza film,  Like:

Tôkyô zankoku keisatsu (2008) aka Tokyo Gore Police

    Oneechanbara: Zombie Bikini Squad (2008)

    Meatball Machine (2005)

The Big Tits Dragon (2010) aka Kyonyû doragon: Hot Spring Zombies vs Strippers 5

    RoboGeisha (2009)

    Machine Girl (2008)

A very cheesy high school love story that shows some heart.
