  1. Dragonheart (1996)

The last dragon and a disillusioned dragonslaying knight must cooperate to stop an evil king who was given partial immortality.

Oh man, i miss cable tv movies! This is one of those films that’ll always be there.

Dragon + Sean Connery = any question/complaint/quarrel is invalid.

You’d have to be a complete idiot/tool not to think this was fun… Cheesy adventure, that will entertain all ages.

What a note worthy cast: Dennis Quaid as the rebellious hero, Pete Postlethwaite as Gilbert the funny scribe, Jason Isaacs is douche-lord and David Thewlis is King Douche! And Dina Meyer as the obnoxiously annoying damsel.

The camaraderie, quirky (easily fooled) locals and quest was a thrill to re-visit. Not your average “family film”. I’m a sucker for adventure fantasies.

Woah! CGI!!! at the time, this was the shit. Still is as far as i’m concerned. A simple B-ish fantasy tale, about life and sacrifice. This made kids cry! lol Nowadays it’s simply become one of those “family safe dragon movies”.

One of those “Good” creature features, not the best but it is up there.
