  1. ChromeSkull: Laid to Rest 2 (2011)

Brings back ChromeSkull, who barely escaped death in the first movie and is hell-bent on continuing where he left off… and forging a new path of terror and destruction.

The indie horror Laid to Rest (2009) returns for more gore!

I was truly surprised with the special effects work of the 1st, this was no different. Excellent splatter of guts and glory.

90210 DJ Brian Austin Green stars as the “other” Chromeskull -> Guess that says it all.

The highlight of this film is the special makeup effects and gore by the team of writer/director Robert Hall.

Laid to Rest impressed me, and i knew what to expect this 2nd time. It’s all about the kill scenes, Do not watch this film for its story.

  2. The Hangover Part II (2011)

Two years after the bachelor party in Las Vegas, Phil, Stu, Alan, and Doug jet to Thailand for Stu’s wedding. Stu’s plan for a subdued pre-wedding brunch, however, goes seriously awry.

    Dear lord… BangCOCK!

The wolfpack is back!!! Bradley Cooper, Zach Galifianakis, Ken Jeong, Ed Helms and director Todd Phillips. Back for some unadulterated adventures!!!

Was it better than the 1st? Fuck if i know, i laughed my ass off in this one. The sequel to a fucked up night forgotten, same shit different day. Oh and a monkey…

A snowball of stupidity and some family crap i really couldn’t care about. Bring on the drugs, booze and boobs! Over the top characters with a story that flows like… smooth diarrhea.

Definitely not for the whole family, this is a frat film for the fans of perversions. I loved it! This brought me back to 2001-2005, lovely.

Wanna know what happens? Fuck that, Go watch it for yourself- with some beers, bud and friends.

  3. Hellboy II: The Golden Army (2008)

The mythical world starts a rebellion against humanity in order to rule the Earth, so Hellboy and his team must save the world from the rebellious creatures.

Based on the comic written and illustrated by Mike Mignola.

Guillermo del Toro betters his 1st Hellboy with a non-stop action fantasy sequel! Bigger, badder monsters and creatures. And maestro Danny Elfman sets the mood and tone with his whimsical scoring.

Ron Perlman, Selma Blair and Doug Jones (Faun, Silver Surfer) return as the super trio out to save the world from ghastly horrors. WOAH!!! joining them on this journey is Johann Kraus, voiced by Seth MacFarlane! John Hurt and Jeffrey Tambor add a vintage flavor to the excitement and thrill of this fantastic journey.

Luke Goss and Anna Walton were perfect as the royal family members torn between destroying and saving the world. And their golden army??? Was superbly done! I loved how they animated and designed the mechanical beasts.

The underworld market and new weaponry were a great touch. Not to mention the humor! So much better than the 1st. 2008 was a great year for comic book movies.

    No news of a part 3, yet…

  4. With Blood on My Hands: Pusher II (2004)

Tonny is released from prison - again. This time he has his mind set on changing his broken down life, but that is easier said than done.

Part 2 of the Pusher Trilogy by writer/director Nicolas Winding Refn.

Valhalla Rising (2009) badass “One Eye”- Mads Mikkelsen gets his ass royally handed to him a baseball bat in the 1st, and returns as the lead in this sequel. This time around, his character Tonny learns a little more about responsibility.

A fuck-up druggie gets out of prison and finds out he has a kid. The other half of the story is about him attempting to “fix” things between him and his employers/friends. “Prove his worth” - the guy just fucks things up. And yes, he does get revenge!

This felt/looked very much like Bronson (2008). I really liked this one more than the 1st. It was visually better, not as grimy as the original (lighting) and the story/character was much more interesting.
