    Little Murder (2011) aka Szellemtanu In post-Katrina New Orleans, a disgraced detective encounters the ghost of a murdered woman who wants to help him identify her killer. “He talks to the dead…” Josh Lucas is the troubled drunk who looses grip with reality. Weirdos rule! Terrence Howard took the spotlight from Josh Lucas. Hey! it’s always nice to see Cary Elwes pop up every now and again.  New Orleans has a smoothing atmosphere. BUT this was shot like a Hallmark thriller… Tacky and cheap in a way. Good cast, questionable production. The story was quite predictable and the dialogue/delivery drove it (somewhat) to an acceptable direction. I liked it but didn’t. This could have been great - due to the ghastly effects and CHEAP impression, this sank to a level i did not expect. I tried to give it an “OK” because of Howards Shakespearean quirks. It was not enough to save this dribble… FAIL. “Y’know that house is haunted.” - A forgettable film.
