A Very Harold And Kumar Christmas (2011)
Six years after their Guantanamo Bay adventure, stoner buds Harold Lee and Kumar Patel cause a holiday fracas by inadvertently burning down Harold’s father-in-law’s prize Christmas tree.
The dynamic pot duo is back!!! Kal Penn and John Cho bring the holiday cheers with the sexual madman Neil Patrick Harris. NPH!
A holiday treat for fans of Harold & Kumar! Perverted pot smoking and ridiculous plot twists are no surprises to us. I pity the fools who don’t know who they are!
Nice drops with the “White House” and “Sulu” jokes. These two have come a VERY long way since their first outing.
Fuckin’ Wafflebot. I’m torn between liking and hating it.
It’s a celebration of stupidity… and i like it! Didn’t quite like the (obvious) 3D bits. This was my least favorite H&K movie. Maybe it’s because i didn’t see it during Christmas.
You shot Santa!

Anything animated/directed by Chuck Jones is guaranteed GOLD!
Boris Karloff one of the true icons of horror cinema, provides the voice of The Grinch and Narrator. A quick fix for the holidays!
Good Stuff for the whole family.

The Muppet Christmas Carol (1992)
The Muppet characters tell their version of the classic tale of an old and bitter miser’s redemption on Christmas Eve.
Heir to the throne Brian Henson pays homage to the Charles Dickens classic.
Starring Mr. Michael Caine, as the greedy/money hungry old fart. Brilliant! And of course… the Muppets!!! The whole gang is back, in a way. Portraying characters from the classic tale. Giving it a comedic twist with lots of heart and wonders.
TRIVIA: This was the first major Muppet project after the death of creator Jim Henson. Henson had performed Kermit and the role was now being handed down to Steve Whitmire.
A classic to say the least. The Muppets have been a big part of my life and it was a pleasure to share this with my nephew over the holidays. It’s the season!
In Loving Memory of Jim Henson.

Bad Santa (2003)
A miserable conman and his partner pose as Santa and his Little Helper to rob department stores on Christmas Eve. But they run into problems when the conman befriends a troubled kid, and the security boss discovers the plot.
That’s a bad one! I found this holiday flick in my brothers archive…
Rude, crude badass dude Billy Bob Thornton RULEZ!!! When is he ever not an asshole? The man is a freakin’ rockstar. It’s like looking into the future.
Little and big presents! Tony Cox and Bernie Mac (1957–2008) add some color and comedy to this anti-pop x’mas movie.
The chubby fat kid was a great character, who i wanted to strangle, and effective in making this film a success. Typical bad guy goes good story, but with booze and sex.
I needed something to cheer me up during this terrible rainy weekend, it did the job.

Rare Exports: A Christmas Tale (2010)
In the depths of the Korvatunturi mountains, 486 meters deep, lies the closest ever guarded secret of Christmas. The time has come to dig it up! This Christmas everyone will believe in Santa Claus.
A Finnish Christmas, with an original take on the origin of Santa Clause. This was a delightful treat that tickled my funny bone. A nice combination of fantasy, some horror and action.
All from the mind of director Jalmari Helander. I thought he had something, something i felt/feel when i watch a Tim Burton film. Hmmm… Dark and whimsical. Not bad for his 1st full length feature, i’m impressed.
Great cinematography and lighting, this was beautiful. There’s also pretty decent CGI work, not the best but good enough. There were some questionable “WTF? really?” scenes/dialogue, but that didn’t take the fun out of this this absurd holiday thrill ride.
This film is driven by it’s quirky cast of characters. Oh boy the “Santa” was creepy! Crazy old man. The hunters were pretty funny too, a bit cliche but funny. Amazing performance by the young Onni Tommila.
So they unearth a creature and then things go wrong. Children go missing and mysterious things occur. What the hell is going on here?!? The hunters find themselves solving the mystery of the excavation, and come face to face with The Santa Clause. It was like a 30 Days of Night (2007) with “little helpers” instead of vampires.
And just when you think it’s over, the ending made me break out a huge smile.
I had so much fun watching this! Really wish i had seen this earlier… goddamn, THE Christmas movie of 2010!!!

Elf (2003)
After inadvertently wreaking havoc on the elf community due to his ungainly size, a man raised as an elf at the North Pole is sent to the U.S. in search of his true identity.
Merry Christmas! Oh man, i forgot to bring this out on Christmas day… Still fun to watch over and over again.
Will Ferrell is a fucking comedic savant. Words cannot express how this guy cracks me up, he’s just so diverse and catches you off guard. Despite his (sometimes) gross humor, Ferrell was able to deliver a film and performance fit for kids and adults. He should do more holiday films.
Singing the Christmas cheers is James Caan and “what? a blonde Zooey Deschanel”. The father son relationship was just right, believable enough. I loved the “Santa!” bits. And of course the “little person” meeting.
Buddy: Did you have to borrow a reindeer to get down here?
Miles Finch: Hey, jackweed, I get more action in a week than you’ve had in your entire life. I’ve got houses in L.A., Paris and Vail. In each one, a 70 inch plasma screen. So I suggest you wipe that stupid smile off your face before I come over there and SMACK it off! You feeling strong, my friend? Call me elf one more time.
Buddy: He’s an angry elf.A hilarious holiday treat for the whole family!
